Project description: The project aims to increase the degree of transparency of the judiciary and to enhance the availability of public information. The project team will study international standards, national legislation and practice, as well as monitor court websites, in order to assess the transparency of the Georgian judiciary. Court statistics and published information (including court decisions) will be special foci of the project. IDFI will study what kind of information is statistically processed in the judiciary and identify major challenges and gaps as part of a comprehensive study, which will include recommendations for improvement.
