Project description: The project aimed to advocate children’s rights through strategic litigation and awareness raising. Special target beneficiaries of the project were children living in state run institutions, and children who experienced all forms of violence and discrimination based on disability, gender, age, sexual orientation etc. PHR provided legal aid to children and their guardians and was based in Tbilisi, traveling to regions based on needs deriving from the project purposes. PHR conducted roundtable meetings and trainings on the rights of child and addressed the issue of proper and ethical representation of children by cooperating with Georgian Bar Association.
