Project description:  The primary goal of the project was to promote equality of arms in criminal proceedings through advocacy in support of the parties’ equal rights to collection and introduction of evidence. To meet this objective the project developed draft amendments to address the gaps in Criminal Procedure Code. The secondary objective was the institutional strengthening of ALFG in other areas, such as lawyers’ training needs and developing guidelines on how to organize a legal firm and what ethical standards were needed therefore.
